The 2017 Skateboarding For Hope program kicked off with a bang at our first event of 2017 in Cape Town. These lucky youths were the recipient of brand new skateboards, courtesy of Tim McFerran and World Skateboard Federation. After these young skaters received their free skateboard, they then participated in a free clinic, a skate contest and received tickets to the 2017 African Continental Skateboarding Championships. WSF has supported SFH events in countries throughout the world and is continuously expanding its efforts to help underprivileged youth take up skateboarding as a way to become a better skateboarder while learning valuable life lessons.
